Roxie Rocket Classic Uppercut. I consider the cartoon series Roxie Rocket as one of the greatest works of cartoon artistry ever created in the combative women genre. It was collaboration with Danny Ryan doing the illustrations and Lobrow doing the coloration. Ill let the pictures speak for themselves. Ill add only this: Here is the fifth of the panels. Then, as the battle continues, I will upload the follow-on panel each week and continue to do so until we reach the conclusion. Sorta like Im doing with the Elmtown series of illustrations. Finally, to address the Deviant Art censors on this series. STJ Productions has acquired the rights to display these Danny Ryan pictures and has given me written permission to upload them on my site. The owner is a good friend of mine here in L.A. As an aside, it is in his boxing ring that the various Big Bucks underground fights were conducted - The pictures of some of these fights previously uploaded on my site.
Wow, I just love this series - the shiny futuristic costumes with those sexy boots, the gorgeous women (the brunettes hair is drawn and coloured to perfection in this scene).
I also love the way that the brunette is established as an absolute bitch within the first few scenes. I can't wait for more - thanks so much for uploading these!
I'm sorry, but there's just something I HAVE to say to this pic.
...SHORYUKEN! :3

If you happen to have a Gomamon, Mudkip, or Neko laying around the house, donate! And by donate, I mean gimme a sketch. Now, this may sound selfish of me.
Damn straight VERY straight o.o Straight UP, that is!

I always loved Danny Ryan's stuff, but I've never found too much of it online. I think he stuff could be seen at a 'superhero' site, but I don't recall. Anyways, him and Wildebeast were always tops.
