‘Roxie Rocket - Damaged Goods’. I consider the cartoon series ‘Roxie Rocket’ as one of the greatest works of cartoon artistry ever created in the combative women genre. It was collaboration with Danny Ryan doing the illustrations and Lobrow doing the coloration. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. I’ll add only this: Here is the fourth of the panels. Then, as the battle continues, I will upload the follow-on panel each week and continue to do so until we reach the conclusion. Sorta like I’m doing with the ‘Elmtown’ series of illustrations. Finally, to address the Deviant Art censors on this series. ‘STJ Productions’ has acquired the rights to display these Danny Ryan pictures and has given me written permission to upload them on my site. The owner is a good friend of mine here in L.A. As an aside, it is in his boxing ring that the various ‘Big Bucks’ underground fights were conducted - The pictures of some of these fights previously uploaded on my site.

I don't know if it was intentional, but this being the one part where the fight slows down long enough to truly see a reaction to one of the hits landed, it really does a lot to build sympathy for Sasha. Danny Ryan did quite the job showcasing just how bad that kick hurt with her posture and body language. Poor Sasha...
