'In The Beginning-Pure Wrestling' This is the eleventh in the series: 'In The Beginning'. Here is a wrestling scene, almost a 'Catfight' POV (Point Of View), but it's a wrestling scene - Pure and simple. In the beginning there were only inked black and white illustrations for my first books. Then I changed to artists who used shading, and those renderings were printed in the half-tone technique for later books and booklets. This picture is one of the first that was done and what was in my mind's eye was made visual for the first time. I had already written the short novel and wanted to bring it to visual life, so to speak. From the first I intended that everything I wrote would be illustrated. This was the first one. As I said, in the beginning, when I first started publishing illustrated books under the Brand X Publishing name, there were only inked black and white illustrations for those first books. I was concentrating on my writing; the illustrations were only there to give a visual aspect to my prose. This is a prime example. Later I changed to artists who used a multitude of shading techniques, and those renderings were printed in the half-tone technique for later books and booklets. Here is one of those very first works. Upon reflection, after all these years, they still have a power all their own.
