Regulars to this site know it is devoted to fighting women, and some of the renderings can be pretty brutal. What is being shown here is such a delightful contrast that the 'DA' Site audience just has to see it. Mick Gleissner is an underwater photographer and here is a depiction of one of the most innovative photo sessions ever of combative women - Featuring models Hillary Choo and Laury Prudent in an underwater boxing ring. This photo shoot was done in the waters off the coast of the Philippine Islands. Gleissner's photos depict the most ordinary activities done underwater by some of the most beautiful women on earth. He's earned much critical acclaim in the past year for his Nautical Angels series of calendars, and he's currently filming an independent movie called "Deep Gold" that makes use of the same settings he uses for his photo shoots. For the 'DA' Site censors I have just received his e-mail permission to place this image on this site. To access his web site just Google his name. Please take a gander at his site and help support his work. Also for the 'DA' Site censors, I've placed no violence advisory because this is pure underwater fantasy and there is no way anyone is going to get hurt by being hit with a boxing glove underwater. The only danger here is drowning. This rendering is too cute for words or advisory. 'Nuff said. This picture is a hoot - Enjoy
Absolutely. The following is buried in my comments section: "For the 'DA' Site censors I have just received his e-mail permission to place this image on this site. To access his web site just Google his name. Please take a gander at his site and help support his work."
Im almost at a loss for words on this one. Im sure at first most would think 'wtf' but I got to say you cant help but just look at it . Makes you way too curious.
How did they get the ring down there? How did they keep the girls from floating back up long enough to get a photo of them in such a position? Why didnt they use an idea like this in the movie "The Abyss"?
Heh, but I got to say the colors kinda jump right out at you, and such a lush green area they set up shop. I like it, unique and hard not to be intrigued and curious.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
